The Nicole DeFilippo Scholarship Fund has been established to provide financial support to a graduating senior who is entering the special education field. Nicole passed suddenly on November 15, 2006 from Viral Myocarditis. She was a past participant in the Branford Road Race, please join her family and friends to run/walk to honor her memory.

The Sandra Ciccone Scholarship is a need based scholarship given to a Branford High School Senior who demonstrates academic achievement. Sandra, a frequent race participant, passed away nine years ago at age 22. Please join her family and friends to run/walk to honor her memory.

Lisa Pelosi, friend and staff member at Planet Fitness, passed away last year. A fund with The American Heart Association is set up to raise money for research and prevention locally.
The Branford Road Race has always had a family focus and this year we would like you to consider supporting Harkness House Veterans Homeless Shelter, The Nicole DeFilippo Scholarship Fund, The Sandra Ciccone Scholarship Fund, The James Blackstone Memorial Library, The American Heart Association and The Community Dining Room.
Those contributing $100 or more will receive a complimentary race entry.
SUPPORT HOMELESS VETERANS
The Harkness House is a Columbus House initiative that supports homeless Veterans. It provides housing and services for male Veterans in a safe and supportive environment. For information visit www.columbushouse.org.
